Paint your Person
Paint Your Person
Dates: September 12, September 17, September 18
Turn a favorite photo into a one-of-a-kind work of art! Choose someone special—a family member, friend, partner, child, or even yourself—and bring their personality to life on canvas.
Before the workshop, you’ll submit a clear photo of one person, which will be used to create a custom-prepared canvas just for you. During this three-hour workshop, professional portrait artist and muralist Jessica Hightower will guide you through the painting process, from choosing colors and mixing skin tones to adding facial details, expression, and finishing touches.
No painting experience is necessary. Come ready to relax, enjoy the music, have fun, and leave with a meaningful portrait created by you.
Your experience includes:
- Three hours of guided painting
- A custom-prepared portrait canvas based on your submitted photo
- Paint, brushes, aprons, and all necessary art supplies
- Instruction from a professional portrait painter
- Music and a welcoming, creative atmosphere
- Your completed portrait to take home
Seating is limited, so reserve your place early and be among the first to experience a workshop at Hightower Art House—where art lives here.
Recommended for ages 13 and up. No previous painting experience is required. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Before You Arrive
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time so you can check in and get settled. All necessary art supplies will be provided unless otherwise noted in the workshop description.
Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are available, but accidents can happen when creativity is flowing! Please review the workshop description for any age requirements or items you’ll need to submit or bring.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Payments
Workshop bookings are nonrefundable because seating is limited and materials are prepared in advance. If you’re unable to attend, you may reschedule your booking with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the workshop may not be accommodated.
When a partial-payment option is available, the first payment reserves your seat and is nonrefundable. The remaining balance will be charged according to the payment schedule shown at checkout and must be paid in full before participating.
If Hightower Art House cancels or reschedules a workshop, participants may transfer their booking to a new date or receive a full refund.
