About

Art Lives Here.

Hightower Art House is a new creative space coming to Benton Harbor, designed for art, classes, workshops, events, gallery experiences, and community connection.

Founded by artist and educator Jessica Hightower, Hightower Art House is being created as a welcoming place where people can gather, learn, create, and experience art in a meaningful way. The vision for the space grew from a desire to make creativity more accessible and to build a place where art feels alive, personal, and connected to the community.

Through her work as a visual artist, Jessica creates bold, expressive portraits that center people of color, storytelling, emotion, and connection. Her experience as both an artist and teacher helped shape the heart of Hightower Art House — a creative space for learning, gathering, expression, and community.

Hightower Art House will offer creative workshops, art classes, youth and family programming, gallery moments, pop-ups, private events, and community-centered experiences. More than just a studio, it is being built as a creative home — a place where people can feel inspired, seen, and invited to participate.

We are currently preparing the space and building toward opening our doors. Follow along for updates, upcoming classes, events, and the journey of bringing Hightower Art House to life.
